Cathedral Style Band
Because the band on a cathedral setting attaches at the stems and at the basket, instead of ONLY at the stems, you will find that this gives a more secure feeling to the ring. You won't feel as if the diamond is just sticking out because the cathedral style shank anchors it in place, making the whole ring feel more sturdy.
