Here at Lauren B., our clients love the combination of fashion and function that comes with the invisible gallery design. This super low-profile ring style allows even the largest of center stones to sit especially close to the finger for a more secure feel. This is all without compromising on appearance. Almost every design from halo to solitaire can be modified to accommodate an invisible gallery. Less metal does not mean fewer opportunities for customization! Despite popular belief that this style limits your wedding band options to either a right hand ring or matching bands only, you can achieve more varied wedding band parings than you think!
WHAT EXACTLY IS AN INVISIBLE GALLERY?
For those who are not entirely sure what the term "invisible gallery" means - don't worry! This is a relatively new feature that we specialize in at Lauren B. With this particular design, the shank of the ring does not form a completely round band - it instead connects to the head of the ring directly while eliminating any metal in between, creating airspace for the gemstone's southern most point, to be exposed. This would sit comfortably flush to the wearer's hand.

For clients with jobs or hobbies that are more hands-on, OR those who just prefer a more discreet look, we often recommend this style since it can be less cumbersome or disruptive than options with a higher profile.
WEDDING BAND PAIRINGS
Matching:
The most obvious band pairing for the invisible gallery design is the matching band - you are guaranteed a flush fit because the width and depth of the rings are exactly the same. This applies to both pave and solitaire styles for the most cohesive look possible.
Same size, different style:
If the width of your engagement ring and depth of your ring and band pairing are about the same, you can opt for a contrasting pattern for a more personalized, fun look. For example, a simple pave engagement ring style like our RS-220 can accommodate a bezel set or channel set band of the same size - and still sit perfectly flush. This is a great option if you like the idea of stacking multiple bands together on the same finger!
Same depth, different width:
For those who like a larger or more brilliant look, you can opt for a wide and flat option. This works with even our most delicate engagement ring designs. At Lauren B., we have pave wedding bands up to 3-3.5mm wide that can be worn with the invisible gallery rings. This creates a seamless but distinctive combination. This is great for clients who like the option of wearing their band alone as well!
3-row and chunkier fancy cut bands:
Bet you didn't think you could pair these with such a low profile ring! We make 3-row pave variations of our invisible gallery rings, such as the popular RS-293. Since the band is thicker than most engagement rings (2.1-2.5mm), you can accommodate another 3-row band or even a chunkier eternity band paired with these designs.
Not a fan of larger engagement ring bands?
We also offer an invisible gallery setting with a U shape bar underneath. This props the ring up JUST high enough to allow more band options to sit flush against it! Keep in mind they shouldn't be so large that they compete with your engagement ring. Those are better reserved for your right hand! But it definitely opens up wider varieties of wedding band pairings for your ring!
